Hello everyone! This is my submission for Limites Supply 209. Wendy gave us a VERY specific list of allowables on this one. We could only use ONE set, we could not use DP but HAD to make our own designer paper with the stamps in that set. We could not use texture plates, etc. and could only use nesties, punches, etc for our sentiment panel, and the sentiment also had to come from that set. We could, however, cut out our images by hand. The only embellishments allowed were ribbon and brads.
OK.... I think I did this all right! I must admit that I struggled with the one sentiment in this set, so I may be changing that after... LOL... but this is just not a sentiment I can see me sending. But regardless... here is what I did:
Used a piece of Anna Griffith solid green paper, much the same as River Rock in color. I used VersaMark and stamped the leaf image from Embrace Life on that bg. I mounted that on a square base of very vanilla. I stamped with Archival ink three of the flower images and lightly sponged the centers and edges with a tad of pastels, then painted with Twinkling H2Os (French Vanilla). I went back over the stamens with a gel pen to highlight. For the sentiment panel I stamped the small floral image from this set in VersaMark on the same paper, cut with an oval Nestie, then cut a very vanilla one with the scalloped nestie. Added two ribbons and done.
Hope you like it! It has a shimmer to the flowers that does not show up on this dark rainy day, but IRL they are pretty.
Thanks so much for taking a peek! More on my blog, along with a couple other new posts.

Grace this is really pretty. I hope the sun comes out soon. I agree with you on the sentiment. That was what was so hard for me. At least you didn't cheat like I did.
