This card was a ton of fun to make, and the challenge also was a lot of fun. I often find my card layout the most difficult part of the creative process. (In fact, I draw all my cards out on my grid paper prior to actually even pulling out the stamp set!) So, this challenge was awesome as it took the most difficult part out of the design for me!
I just love the Best of Cluck stamp set. I used drywall tape to create the chicken wire. I basically set it down on my copper stamp pad and rolled my brayer over it after that. I then used some hairspray to set the copper ink. I sponged around the edges of the chicken image and word image first in more mustard, then in ruby red. Finally, I dragged the cardstock edges through the stamp pad for some extra definition. I realized after the card was fully assembled that chicken tracks running on the bottom of the main image would have been cute. Oh well, maybe next time!
I know I've said it before, but I officially LOVE watercoloring now that I have some decent watercolor paper!
Thanks for looking, and I hope you enjoy it!

Great card. Love the mesh you used on the card.
