I love this challenge, especially as I had already started this card when I saw it...perfect for me...
Something OLD - do I count?! I NEED you to tell me 'No!!' The lace is recycled off an old placemat given to me by my MIL's friend, I painstakingly picked it off...stitch by painful stitch, then soaked it in coffee for the aged colour - it was a lovely Columbian brew too..mmmmm!!!!!
Something NEW - The Tild image, given to me by a friend, along with the snowflakes that were in my RAK from Roxystamper - I used Kindy Glitz on them to add an extra sparkle and attached some of them with dimensionals.
Something BORROWED - the Kindy Glitz, thanks Hannah, plus the stamps for pointsettia and sentiment, thanks Nat.
Something BLUE - the back layer for the oval and most importantly, Tilda's shoes, scarf and boots!
I wanted this card to give the appearance of the wind blowing and the snow being blown about in the wind. As I was pondering on it, my 10 year old DD, Maddy read me a poem she had written and it just fitted with this card...
'I looked out of my window
I heard a gentle breeze
The wind slightly tiptoed
through the tiny trees
I heard the wind blow
as it rustled through the leaves...'
I hope you like it, I think I achieved what I was wanting, I love the nostalgia (where's the spellcheck when you want it?!) Thanks for dropping in, I really appreciate your comments and encouragement!!!

Such a beautiful card! You did a great job on this challenge and it's so funny to see you used the snowflakes I sent you since I couldn't send you real ones. LOL! Great design! TFS!
Hi Linda, Your card is beautiful! Won't belong and weather will be like this for me. Your DD Maddy's poem is so sweet and can just picture a view like that. Magnolia stamps are really growing on me, so cool we can order them here now.

Oh along with this poem, this sure chalks up to a perfect "Kodak" moment. I can only imagine how sweet she must have been writing and then reading it to you. I love it when my son reads stuff to me. It's not poems but still.
I really love this card, and all the stampers creating it through you!
