Today's challenge was a terrific sketch challenge.
I started out by stamping the cat from Visual Image Printery and then the grave stones which are all partly maked and partly a dollar stamp from Micheals.
I masked all of those off and then I masked off the moon with a large circle cut with my nestabilities.
Then I masked off the sky on the diagonal and the ground with torn post-it notes.
I sponged the sky with tempting turquoise, old olive, elegant eggplant and black, working on one half and then the other half and making one side darler than the other.
Then I removed the moon mask and sponged it in yoyo yellow and apricot appeal.
Then I sponged the ground in old olive and black and finally I used a mask I made for the clouds and sponged those in black.
I removed the masks from the foreground and painted the stones and cat with my Tombow marker and then drew the lines around the moon and extended the lines for the grave stones where needed and added the grass lines by hand.
Presto I was done the main panel which I mounted on summer sun and then black.
Hope you can see the sketch in my card and hope you like it as much as I enjoued making it.
TFL.
