Today's challenge was to make an acetate treat box. This was another great challenge Lynn.
The instruction link showed a 3.5 inch box but what I had in mind as a treat (a bunch of crafting items for a friend of mine) was too tall for that. So I made my box 8 inches tall.
I used basic black for the top and bottom and the top has a square of pretty in pink centered on it. Fanny is mounted on black, then pink, then white. I used my scalloped decorative scissors to make the pink edging along the top and bottom edges of the box.
Fanny is from Whipper Snapper Designs and is coloured with Tombows as are the palm leaves which are from CD Stamps. The ribbon is from Pritchard's Packaging in Ottawa, Ontario.
This was a really fun challenge and I found the instructions incredibly easy to follow and the box was quite easy to make. That left lots of time to decorate it.
Hope you like my box as much as I liked making it. Thanks, Lynn for a fabulous challenge and thanks everyone for looking.
