Default Another clipboard question!!!

I've seen some where they have added ribbon and layers on the clipboard & I'm assuming modgepodge over it. How do you prevent it from being bumpy when they use it. Can you guess i"ve never made one yet! But I'm ready to jump on the bandwagon!

Thanks!

Default clipboards

Can you actually use these clipboards? Seems like they would be bumpy to write on. I guess you could alter the back of it.

I think that the bumpier ones are mainly meant as a showpieces, and not really meant for general use.

The one that EllenH gave me is *perfection* - it's mostly flat, and pefect for a mini-legal pad. I used it a little bit, then decided to use it as a frame in my stamp room. I think that's more what they are meant for. Just to look at. . .especially if you add more stuff to them!

I don't think they are actually meant to be used. I recently made two and added photos to them if you buy the clipboard that has the wire holder (not the orginal clip style) it has a hanger that you can hang them up with.

I just bought some to embellish....I'm going to try to make them functional though. Just keep everything flat (paint, paper, stamping). I'm thinking of teacher gifts and I think they would want to "use" them, don't you?? I think I would so that's what I'm going to start with.....

I'm thinking about decorating the back and the edges of the front and the clip, so they are useable, especially for teacher gifts.

either upload into your gallery or to add it to this thread, add it as an attchment. when you click on reply type your reply and scroll down the page and you will see where it says manage attachments click there then you will see a blank box and 'browse' nest to it, click browse and find the file on your puter, then click open and then upload then when it is uploaded, submit reply.
