I just want to let you know where I am with this. I have completed the list of who submitted what recipes. I am now compiling email addresses for everyone who submitted recipes and will be sending out emails to have the recipes proofed. Unfortunately I do not have the original recipes so I can only ask each person to proof their own recipes. Once I have all them back I can then hand them over to be submitted. Please have a little patience but I promise this project will have a happy ending.
I am receiving a lot of emails requesting I add you to the list for the cookbook. I am not responding to these emails but am keeping all of the requests in a database file and will let you know as soon as the book is available. Thanks to all of you for your interest. I know you have all been very patient.
I have 36 users that submitted recipes but did not indicate their user name. I have placed a new post looking for members in the announcement area. Please look over that post and see if there is anyone on the list that you may know.
I have started emailing and pm users with their recipes so everyone that submitted should recieve an email in the next week.. This is a long process so please be patient as I have 11 sheets of names and over 500 recipes. I am also going to accept more recipes for the next 2 weeks. There are about 150 recipes that I already know cannot be proofed so they will not be in the cookbook. That being said I would like to fill the space. Please read this carefully and follow the instructions to make this an easy process. Each user can submit no more than 2 recipes. You must include your SCS user name with the recipe or I will not submit the recipe with the book. You must indicate what category you would put the recipe in. And please do not PM them to me, they MUST be emailed to me. If they are PM'd to me I cannot transfer them to the cookbook layout. If you have questions ask first. Every entry I receive will get an email or PM approximately 2 weeks after submission asking you to proof the recipe. I am only going to only accept recipes until Apr 5th. This will in no way delay the final project timeline. While I am receiving recipes I will also be working on the ones that have been previously submitted, making corrections to any proofs that require it and working on a layout. Things are looking good and I am happy with the progress that I am making. I can't wait to get this out to everyone as the interest has been great.
I proofed the 3 recipes I put in like 4 years ago! �
The third one I made a few changes only because in the recipe I put in "the first 4 ingredients but listed the others right next to them so It would have been ugly otherwise. lol
Hopefully I did it right.

I'll get my thinking hat on and see if I have a suitable recipe to contribute, too, that I can easily convert into American measurements .

I did originally submit recipes. I have not received an email yet to proof them but am wondering if maybe you did send it and it hit a spam filter? I'm just thinking that maybe that's why you are not getting a good response. Thanks so much for all of your work in moving this huge task forward. It is truly appreciated.

According to Pg57, I checked the announcements and since my name wasn't there, I have to assume her e-mail to me was blocked for some reason. I e-mailed her through SCS and hotmail, so hope to hear soon. This is awesome! We love you, Peggy!
Hi Ladies, I can tell we all love cookbooks from the response I am getting. I am sending about 20 emails a day although the past couple days I got hit with a terrible virus(non computer)and have been under the weather. The emails are still going out and unfortunately there is no rhyme or reason to the order they are being sent. This is because of the way I got the info from Morris. Just an FYI that most of the messages are being sent as PM on SCS. I try to only email if there has been no activity in a while on SCS. The replies are coming in slowly but boy, the new recipes are coming in quickly. Either way we are going to have a great book. I am still plugging away and am about 1/4 of a way thru the list. As I promised I will keep the info coming.
