by Wendy Cranford

Score, cut and fold to create this uniquely angled box.

Supplies

  • Cardstock (Stampin’ Up!® Flirty Flamingo cardstock used here)
  • Ink (SU Flirty Flamingo ink use here)
  • Scoring tool
  • Trimmer
  • Stamps (SU Dragonfly Dreams stamp set used here)
  • Adhesive
  • Scissors

Step-by-Step

  1. Step 1

    Trim cardstock to 11 1/2" x 7 7/8". Score on the short side of the cardstock at 2 1/2", 4 5/8", and 7 1/8″.

  2. Step 2

Rotate the cardstock so the narrowest horizontal line is at the top. Score to the second score line at 2 1/2", 5", 7 1/2", and 10".

  3. Step 3

    Rotate the cardstock completely and score to the first score line at 1/4", 2 3/4", 5 1/4", 7 3/4", and 10 1/4".

  4. Step 4

Score on the diagonal from the bottom of one upper score line to the tops of the two below it.

  5. Angle the cardstock back and forth as you score, creating triangles along the way.

  6. Step 5

Stamp cardstock if desired prior to folding.

  7. Step 6

Cut away excess pieces that are not needed, as shown in the diagram.

  8. Step 7

    Trim in on tabs.
    Fold on all score lines.

  9. Step 8

Use strong adhesive on the half triangle section.

  10. Wrap the adhesive around to other side of the paper and align it with the triangle section at the end, creating the box.

  11. Step 9

Fold bottom pieces in and add adhesive for closure.

  12. Step 10

Tuck in a treat and tuck in the top tab to close the top of the box.

  13. Complete the project.
