This is the first time I have participated in these type of challenges...how fun! This card was made for Michelle's Tuesday Dirty Dare Challenge to make a masculine card. I have a friend at church who's husband is taking chemo. I thought he might like this one. It is a case of mraburn's CARD.
I changed the colors and some hardware, used a different background stamp, left out the circle, and added a framed sentiment. I also didn't have the right ribbon, so I took an idea from my friend, Diane (lost in the 60's), and colored my own. The ribbon is white grosgrain that I colored with a Close to Cocoa marker.

This is fabulous! Love the horizontal strip with the trees stamped on it. Your colouring is wonderful, the distressing is perfect...everything about this card is perfectly masculine!
