What outstanding examples you had for us today, Julia! I adore ric-rac and even used it on a card just yesterday...my stash wasn't too far away!
Believe it or not...this is my first cupcake anything! I have enjoyed seeing all the takes on this theme...so today, I'll join the trend...with Impression Obsession's cupcake clear birthday set and cupcake paper from Basic Grey. I constructed my sweet treat with ric-rac for the paper cup and the bottom of the cake. I stamped the frosting four times with Adirondack espresso embossing some of them. I then layered the frosting to fit that Costco sized cupcake. The candle is stamped and stickled, and the whole thing popped on foam. The cake plate is from Flourishes 1st set 'Cake Decorating'. I stamped with espresso onto a Basic Grey blue from the cupcake paper group. Don't you just love the sentiment...the rustic frame is by RubberMoon. I added brunished brads. The number paper bg is again a Basic Grey paper. I love the random numbers...I see 81...won't you have fantastic memories by then? This whole panel is mounted onto red cs that has a measuring tape stamped at the top. I then layered GP white cs and my card base is wonderful wild wasabi (SU) which I doodled on with a black puff pen.
Thanks for looking and your comments...I'm off to comment on YESTERDAYS gallery! Maybe I should go and find a cupcake with four layers of frosting...do you think the sugar high would carry me through my day?

As always, Susan, this is a creative masterpiece. I like how you aren't afraid to put colors together - you DO like color, don't ya!!!!! ?

This is just wonderful, Susan! Love the greeting and your super size cupcake. If the Costco size cupcake is anything like the Sam's pies, it will take forklift to carry it out. Kind of reminds me of a show dh was watching on the food channel last night. Some guy decided that making a 123 pound hamburger was a good idea. You could feed a small town w/ that one burger.
