Hi everyone, my name is Michelle Woerner, but most of you know me as sf9erfan here on SCS. It is SUCH a thrill to be invited to be a part of this wonderful and talented design team! I am still pinching myself to see if I wake up!
A little about me, I met and married my wonderful husband, Bill in my mid thirties and within 14 months we married, bought a house, and I was pregnant with our first son. Hey, when you know, you know, why wait around? I am blessed to have the option of being a SAHM and raising my 2 toddler boys, Daniel who is 4 and Ryan who is almost 3. By trade I am a licensed insurance agent for the last 14 years. We live just outside of Portland, Oregon, but Bill and my mom's family are 3rd generation San Franciscans, hence the name sf9erfan. We are all 49er fans here in this house!
I discovered stamping completely by accident. I answered an add off Craigslist to buy some scrapbook paper, and while I there I saw her lovely handmade Christmas cards. She said she made them using stamps from a company called Stampin' Up!. This was a novel idea to me, I never knew people MADE their own cards?!? How funny is that? Well, I went right home and looked SU! up on Ebay. I found a seller with an auction for the Frosty and Heartfelt Thanks sets (which I bought) and both had a link to the SCS gallery. After one look, I was hooked! That was a year and a half ago, and things have been full steam ahead ever since. With my being surrounded by boys, dinosaurs, cars and trains all day long it's wonderful to escape into the world of pastel colors, ribbon, flowers and all things pretty whenever I want. I absolutely love making cards!
I am so happy to be here and I can't wait to begin this adventure. SCS has opened up the world of stamping and introduced me to many wonderful friends. I am truly honored to give back in some tiny way and help create the Fan Club Gallery we all enjoy and look forward to every month. I promise to do my very best for you all!
