I did a card swap this last summer and someone had done a birthday hat card. I haven't figured out how to scan and upload a diagram. But you take a regular 4 x 5 card, on the front side of the card (left) cut a diaganal line from left to right down, then making it curve slightly cut from right to left so you end up with a triangle shape. this is your fold over part. Then make a rim that is the basic shape as the bottom of the triangle, run it thru a crimper and attach, then add a pom pom to the top of the hat. I hope this makes sense. Hopefully soon I'll figure how to add a diagram or picture to my post. If any one wants a template I can either mail it to them or fax it over.
