Thanks Julia for another unique challenge! My brain cells were definitely exercised this morning...I am getting used to a new IMac and I haven't done much word processing on it yet so...I went to one of my handy dandy clip art books, popped in a CD and then had to learn how to "COMMAND" my old comfy printer to do what I wanted! Third times the charm...and unbeknownst to me, I would end up using bits of my programming mistakes!!!
This adorable basket of chicks is from Memories of a Lifetime book with a CD. I printed it on white cs...tearing and exactoing the image. I inked the edges with ColorBox and VersaMagic chalk inks. My tag is an Inkadinkadoo stamped in VersaMagic sea breeze and embossed in clear ep. I used a silk hand dyed ribbon to 'attach' to my basket. The image is built on SU's almost amethyst stamped with the weave backgrounder from CHF (Aegean Blue ink). Next is an awful gold paper that I stamped in Tim Holtz distress mustard seed using the rice paper bg again from CHF. I placed this panel onto SU's sage shadow that I folded kickstand style. The bottom edge is punched with Fiskars eyelet punch. Now where might you wonder did I make good use of my rejects from the printer? At the bottom right edge, I cut the violets from my second printing and laid in the corner.
This was a lot of fun and thanks again to all for peeping and typing comments!
