Today's Ways to Use it Challenge was to make a window card. I've made a card for a friend who is obsessed with wooden boats and everything nautical. The window is a ship's porthole, with a view of a *blueprint* for a ship. Around the window I've punched holes with the SU double 1/8 inch punch, and threaded heavy twine through the holes, knotted between each 2 holes. The window is a shaker box, filled with large and small microbeads (think water or sand!)
The cardfront is a background of the TLC challenge 155, *Ink, Spray & Smash*, so it also qualifies for that challenge too. I used green and blue inks (think ocean!) and overstamped it with Old World Map. I used a piece of real cheesecloth across the top (think fishing nets!) and the folded over left edge is torn and embossed with Ranger's *Snow* EP (think whitecaps!) Finally, there is a Polyshrink conch shell caught in the fishing net.
The front of the card seemed too busy to add a sentiment, so I'll write that inside.
Hope you like it- thanks for looking!
Maddy
