I've been a fan of Betty's for while, and I love her gallery. I wanted to case this one: One of a Kind by gbedwright at Splitcoaststampers
because I really like the layout, the colors, everything. But it just wasn't my day. The build a tree set (IO) just would not fit that direction, so it changed the whole card. I still have a tree, but my colors are different, the layout has changed. What started as a CASE is now an inspiration, I guess. Sorry I couldn't work it out better, Betty.
Everything was stamped w/ the one ink. Some highlights were added w/ a white gel pen. All the pink panels were edged w/ the white marker, then dotted w/ white and burgundy gel pens. The 4 scallops at the bottom were done w/ the Notch and Die tool. The bordeaux bg is stamped tone on tone w/ swirls from an Autumn Leaves set. TFL

Don't be so hard on yourself; this card is beautiful. I especially like the white and burgundy gel pen on the edges of the panels. Very sorry to hear about your daughter's diagnosis, but do not give up hope!! My mother was diagnosed with Hodgkins while I was in high school, and has been in remission for over 10 years now. It's very treatable especially if you catch it at an earlier stage; they've had so much success treating it that doctors are now using Hodgkins treatments on other types of cancer. Be sure to tell your daughter also to keep up her spirits because attitude has a LOT to do with how you cope. My mom was always positive about her outlook even when she was on some pretty heavy medication when she did chemo. I will be thinking about you and your family! And remember, keep a positive attitude!
