Did I mention you can whack these starbursts in half for a different effect? Plus you only have to make one then! If you do the half starburst embellishment, you only need three of the star points or "petals" to mount behind the first layer instead of 4 petals.
This card is my way of thanking two friends of mine, Linda (who taught me bow tying!) and Selma. Their reaction to my first starburst card gave me the courage to submit it to SCS in the first place. It's like I made a little snowball and they shoved it down the hill.
I'd also like to thank all of you wonderful stampers here on Splitcoast for your kindness and enthusiasm. It's been so much fun hearing from you and seeing your ideas!
In case you missed it, the instructions for the original starburst can be found in the forum message boards under Techniques at the following URL:

like i said on your how-to thread, this is AMAZING!!! and I'm so excited, because I have all of these elements (even the CB alphabet set with the 'thanks'!!) Thank you so so much for sharing this wonderful, creative idea!
This is great and Thanks for the tutorial. I love them and I just free-handed around the small punch while I wait for my other punch to come in. So beautiful when completed! TFS!
