This is my 2nd attempt at using the star from this set to come up with a sample card. I'm not sure that I love it, but it's definately better than the first. Suggestions for improvement are welcome!

I think the layout is wonderful and love the piercing around the star. The only thing I will say about it (only because you asked!) is that I thought it was a baby card for a little boy. Although, I suppose it IS a baby card for a little boy....but you get what I am saying right?

I really like this card!! All your special touches are what makes it great!! The ribbon with the faux stitching, the paper piercing around the star, and the stars stamped on your background are just perfect together!! TFS!!
I get it, and understand it, and I'm not a Christian! I think it's great the way it is, but you could also put just three little holes in each of the corners... instead of a brad or eyelet.

I really think it is cute the way it is... but if your asking for alternative ways to change this up a bit I would maybe not ticket punch the corners, and put the ribbon through the one layer of paper not the whole card. ... but really this card is cute. It is a great take on this set, makes me think I might "need" it as I would have to tell my hubby...lol happy stampin ... good luck with your final card!!
I also like the layout, the piercing around the star is a unique way to highlight it. Maybe try gold glitter or stamp the image on gold cardstock, give it more of a twinkle.
