I needed to make a card for an "E" swap. After looking through all my stamps, and even the dictionary, for ideas and options and drawing a blank, I asked my husband and he said, "E is for elegant." I said, "Great idea!" So I made what I hope is an elegant card.
The background is a shimmery gold paper. I used Heat and Stick Powder and black flocking with my Baroque Motif set. That is mounted on Basic Black paper. The medallion is stamped on a textured black paper and embossed with detail gold embossing powder. The center of the medallion is mounted on a thick dimensional and then I added a brad. The word "Elegance" is printed on vellum on my ink jet printer and then embossed with the same gold embossing powder. I thought the double layer of ribbon added a little more elegance.
What do you think? Did I pull it off?
