I am asking a friend to take some of my cards along to swap at Convention. I don't want to send something she'd be embarassed by....
I just got this set yesterday and I love it I tried 2 variations of the card I had in my head with this using the Dashing paper. Also, the red paper is the new textured stuff - it doesn't show in the photo.
I would love suggestions to improve on these.
Do you prefer the twill or the taffeta ribbon, or is that just a distraction? Two rows or three of the dotted paper? Should I do some paper piercing in some corners? Help?! I really am open to suggestions. All my cards are so simple - I really want something people would swap for and not want to throw it away once they get to their hotel room...

They are both worthy of being swapped! I like the one on the left better, too, but I would go with 2 rows to stretch your paper. No one will know there is another row of dots left off, cause they haven't seen them side-by-side like we are. I also always add glitter or stickles to my cards. If jazzes them up so much! Good luck with your decision. Let us know what you went with!

I think the one with 2 rows of dots fits the "rule of thirds" better. The 3 rows looks like it breaks your card in the middle. I also like the taffeta and think people would appreciate that more since it is new and we've seen twill before. Great cards!

I like the 2 rows of dots with the twill - the thickness of the twill seems to work better. I'd skip the glitter that others have suggested - just a personal preference, as that stuff tends to end up everywhere, and I think the cards look fine withour it. Hope all of our contradicting advice is helping - LOL! BTW, I'd gladly take either card in a swap any day - they look great!
