I made this for my brother and his wife. They met in a forest tech program and their wedding colours were ivory and green. Also, their "mascot" for lack of a better term is a four-leaf clover, so I thought the shamrocks and other card elements tied in very well with that fabulous couple. Every anniversary, they go out into a field and find a four-leaf clover; they have a large frame they keep them in on display in their home.
I stamped a 4.25x5.5 piece of white cardstock with a third-generation image of the Weave backgrounder in Brushed Corduroy. I drew a horizontal line as long as the next layer is wide, so the line was centred on the page. Then I inked up the leaf stamp in Peeled Paint and stamped it six times symmetrically around the horizontal line I drew. I actually meant to stamp the leftmost leaf with a downward angle, but messed up and I think it turned out better this way anyways.
I inked up the fern stamp in Peeled Paint and stamped in front the edges with it, alternating the angle of the fern each time. Stamped the shamrock from Cat Dancing Designs (CHF) in Peeled Paint on white CS, then matted on True Thyme CS and layered that on the centre of the card. I also stamped the envelope so there will be a leaf next to their address when we send their card.
Thanks for looking!
