After moving to Florida I began missing my friends from "back home" (Indiana) tremendously so I decided to create a Paper Bag Album that I could leave sit out on my table and thumb through whenever I was feeling "blue" and lonely.
I LOVE "matchy-matchy" stuff so of course I decided to go with the Looks Like Spring stamp set and matching brass stencil, punch and Designer Papers.
I soooo enjoyed creating this little "labor of love" and throughout the past year I have had fun "introducing" my new friends to my old ones.

I'm sooooooooooooo impressed that you made your own embossing template! I love the book. I moved away from my friends back in October and I feel your pain of missing our friends. What a wonderful idea. Thanks for sharing your creativity, it's beautiful!
Oh man, I LOVE dry embossing with punches. It is easy and adds to the versatility of your punch. To make your own dry embossing template you:
1.) Using a piece of scrap card stock, use the punch flower punch (Note: I like to center it so I have plenty of room to tape the template down or to hold onto the edge when embossing.
2.) Now get another piece of scrap card stock that is the same size and punch again.
3.) Line up the two punched areas and glue together. Your new "embossing template" is now ready to use.
4.) Optional: Or you can laminate the two sheets of punch card stock after gluing them together if you'd like extra strength and durability.
5.) After laminating them, line up the design through the punch and punch again.
Emboss till your little heart is content. Quick, easy, and works with ANY punched design you may have. Give it a try.
