I heat embossed the snowflake in White EP. Then covered the entire surface with Versamark and embossed in a local EP called "Cow of many colors" that turns different colors depending on how long you heat it. (The name of the EP shows I live in Wisconsin and the store it's from is called Cowtown Stamps!)

Very pretty ornament. My sister told me Cowtown Stamping is going out of business. Hope to make a trip there before they close to see if they have any bargains.

Thanks for all your nice comments! I learned everything about this technique here at SCS in the forums! If you do a search for ornaments, you'll find all the details you could ever need to do these, and they're soooo easy! The image is stamped on a transparency sheet, rolled up, and put inside the ornament.

So I can use some help - how did you get the snowflake into the ornament without the embossing coming off? I tried to make the angel from the last gift set and when I rolled her the embossing all came off!! I tried some glitter nail polish and she cracked but did not come all the way off but did not look so good any longer. Thanks for sending in this beautiful ornament.

I didn't have any problems with the embossing coming off with any of the ornaments I did. Hmmm. I've done it with Versamark and with white craft and both worked great. And I've used both SU and non-SU embossing powders.
