I started gluing a book page on a piece of scrap, covered with white chalk paint and sparkled brusho powders and then with a brush and water diluted this to make the bg, once dry I've embossed it with the flags, drew the row of houses on a book page and covered with white chalk paint, went over again with the micron pen, outlined the flags and doodled them, glued the row of houses on a piece of black card stock to create the shadows, cut words from the book pages to create my sentence, and splattered white chalk paint and a bit of gold pigment over the bg before gluing the street
It's written: a whirlwind of national events in the streets of France

Your background is amazing, Your houses are amazing - well your entire card is amazing. I love how you described making the background and how it turned out. The book page start makes it all the better.
