This teapot Tuesday challenge was so much fun. Our challenge was to be inspired by an idiom. Last year I worked with a number of people who are not native to Canada and are not familiar with Canadian idioms so I introduced an idiom each week to them. This was reciprocated with them teaching me some idioms from their cultures. Loads of fun!
This card was inspired by the idiom, "the early bird gets the worm", and brought back memories of having family contests of who could sight the first robin of spring.
I've made 2 cards for the challenge this week. Which do you like best?
Enjoy!

Both cards are cute but I’m drawn to this one in particular- the background looks earthy to me and goes very nicely with that cute bird and worm image.

That is one sweet little bird. It always amazes me how many worms a bird can catch and carry, I'm sure I've seen thrushes and blackbirds with at least five or six. That idiom exchange must have very interesting and educational.
