I have the rest of the story along with a failed piece on not so great paper on the blog here. You can find this challenge here to play along with us. I did find this to be a do-able thing using better paper, I just do not get good results on non cotton paper when starting with a wash of water followed by more paint the wet on wet works better on Cotton is what I am trying to tell you, and I had forgotten that. It's been a long time since I tried to really paint on student papers. live and learn right? I did like that she curled up the branches on her trees as she was painting them also so, I did try that. tfl.

Yes! Even the simplest scene can still be a challenge in watercolor. I was pretty challenged myself so I get it. In the end, you have a good result with nice trees and a soft reflection. l like the way you incorporated it into a card with the wonky border and the sentiment. Thank you for hostessing.
