Giovanna (giogio) set us the F4A challenge of making a birthday project. You will have to trust me that there is a 'Happy Birthday' sentiment inside. I have many winter birthdays in the family so this was a timely challenge! I was inspired by Micheline Jourdain's beautiful posts in making this card.
The image was stamped with watermark ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. I sponged three shades of blue distress ink on the background and carefully cleaned off the embossed areas with a paper towel. I flicked water and then gesso on the card with an old toothbrush. Added a few Liquid Pearls to finish.

Goodness, such a beauty. I love the blue background and the embossed white is really popping from it.

I have always liked white embossed images. Your great card has inspired me to have a go. Love the beautifully shaded background and the snowy splatters.
