I absolutely loved this week's WCW challenge-created a abstract wc background, watercolor the back of a real leaf and print it on the background. That's it! I happen to have a maple tree in my backyard, still completely green, maybe a silver maple. I have had the Fabriano notecards for years, need to use them.
This is also for this past Sunday's FS-enjoy your week, Loretta. I discovered that I had already saved some of your creations. This is what I cased, as I had the same wood mounted stamp that she used: "Autumn Inspiration" by lorettagrace at Splitcoaststampers
Lastly, for today's WT-how did I get to school? I walked most everyday. I don't remember my dad ever driving me and my mother didn't drive until after I learned to drive. I remember walking home in snow up to my knees, although not uphill! Two of my most favorite things about walking: in the fall, I love to walk through a pile of leaves, kicking them into the air like Linus does in The Great Pumpkin. In the late winter, I love to walk on thin ice that has a layer of water underneath, listening to the ice cracking and seeing the water move underneath the ice. The only time I ever got a ride to school is when my friend Diane had a car when we were seniors.
Thanks for the challenges!

This is a great leaf image. I remember when I use to walk all the leaves falling. Oh what a beautiful time to walk to and from school but alas that meant the snow was arriving soon and my 10 minute walk would turn in to a 20 minute walk once the snow arrived.

Oh, watercolour paper notecards are a wonderful thing to have in your stash. Lovely leaf stamps - and print. I loved tramping through the leaves on our walk to school - didn't get cold enough for much ice but I've experienced that a couple of times and it is fun!
