For FS868: Sweet Irene
Congratulations to you! I chose Betty's field flowers card to case. I changed the striped panel to burlap, the field flowers to a sunflower, and colored using ink blending as a background.
I blended two DOX inks on watercolor paper, spritzed with water and stamped my sunflower on top. I got out my paper piercer and pierced the corners (that used to be such a thing; now everyone uses dies!), then distressed the edges. I added a piece of burlap for texture and added interest. And of course I added some bling - Split Pea Kasiercraft Rhinestones. Very simple!
Thanks for looking!

Maybe very simple, Judy, but beautifully effective. Great colour, great design elements (love the burlap piece) and wonderful, inspirational sentiment.

Judy, this is a great case of Betty's inspiration card. Your yellow shading on the black stamped sunflower is so pretty. I love the simplicity of the white background. The distressed edges and the burlap are perfect.
I'm so happy to see you in the challenge gallery this week. XOXO
