For my card I used the Honeybee Lovely Layers hydrangea die cuts and cut out several different blues. I added a bit of darker blue to the center of the flowers and added sponging to the edge of the leaves.
The card was finished with the base layer embossed, the sentiment and a few scattered pearls.

The deeper sponging on the hydrangea blooms really adds depth and definition, while the pearl centers add a bit of elegance. Lovely yin and yang with the rough hewn brick wall.

Blue was my choice of colour too. You have such a beautiful shade of it, I've seen Morning Glories in just that colour. The embossed background is fab with the crisp flowers.
