The tea party today goes to Sue's husband who could use a bit of cheer; he enjoys sailing. I made a water color background with Brusho crystals and when dry laid the die cut over top. This is layered on a panel of designer paper and I used a scrap of the Brusho background for the sentiment.
I noticed just before uploading that I've chosen the same die cut as Anne : )

Claudia, I love the beautiful Brusho bg behind the fabulous die cut and it goes so beautifully with the chosen dp, this is a lovely card with a lovely sentiment! John will love this as he has sailed both for recreational reasons and has also raced. He is certainly in for a surprise when he receives his cards! Thank you for joining in the challenge.

Oooh, I love that die and it looks super with that gorgeous bg you created. The watery dp you used for the base compliments your main layer beautifully. I really like the extra touch of fun and color from the brusho scrap and the beautiful sentiment you stamped on it. Perfect for this card and this occasion. Great card.

Same die used as Anne but with very different results. I love the creativity of this group, often using the same materials to make unique pieces. This is lovely.
