For this weekâs Teapot Tuesday Challenge, we are featuring birds found around water, such as ducks, geese, flamingos, swans, seagulls, etc.
For my card, I created a scene that mixes die-cuts, fussy-cut stamped image, and some interesting torn papers. The palm tree is stamped, colored with pencils, and die-cut. The flamingo was in my stash â someone gifted it to me. I die-cut the clouds. To create the background, I tore a piece of sparkly brown card stock to be the sand, and a darker blue patterned paper to be the water. I used a paler, dotted blue print as the sky, and adhered the smaller pieces on the sky piece to create the scene.

Great use of different papers to create your scene. I knew I recognised the palm tree - I've used that more than the animals in the set myself. Fun flamingo. We've seen them in the wild in France and Greece. I remember the first time in Greece, it was such a surprise to come down the track hearing all the noise and then to see what it was when the lagoon came into view.
