This is my sample for CC936. I am your hostess this week and I chose blackberry bliss, bumblebee and mossy meadow for my color trio. Dessert option this week is flowers.
I decided to go with a fun fold design this week. It's an easel card and there is a tutorial here on SCS- click here. My background is a card base from the Sweet Sunflowers Paper Pumpkin kit from Stampin' Up. I cut it apart and then layered with bumblee and blackberry bliss cardstock.
The inside of the card I layered with bumblee designer paper from the Stampin' Up "simply marbleous" collection.
My butterfly is cut in blackberry bliss cardstock and designer paper from the Stampin' Up "oh so ombre" collection. I used the same paper for the congratulations phrase. I was able to be a different gradient by using different sections of the designer paper.
That's my card for this week. I am anxious to see the gallery this week. After all flowers seem to be everyone's favorite in this challenge. (LOL)!!!

Exquisite card, Mary. Love the watercolored look of your bg. The dark butterfly is a lovely focal point. Great easel format too....can be enjoyed when on display.
