This is for FS822 and Jessica aka jlazarski is our featured artist this week. Congratulations, Jessica. I hope you enjoy your special week. I had a great time browsing through your beautiful gallery and finally settled on Cold nose, warm heart by jlazarski at Splitcoaststampers. I was inspired by the snowman theme and designer papers in the background. I changed the layout to horizontal and used different designer paper for my background. I created my scene with a die cut snowman surrounded by presents instead of a stamped snowman.

Super adorable...I love that snowman hugging his tree. You created another fabulous and fun scene. The dp you chose for the bg is so unexpected but so perfect on this card. This reminds me of a window display in a fancy store -- probably in New York. Love love love this.

These lkind of background papers are my least favorite because they always have such a "busy" look to them, but Kittie you have been showing me lately how these diecuts look really quite grand on them. Thanks for giving me some hope and promise of using these design papers in some redeeming ways.
