This is for today's inspiration challenge, as well as for the CAS Christmas Challenge, which was pine. The background trees were stamped with stormy sky distress ink, the foreground trees with faded jeans and then I misted with water. When it was dry, I stamped the foreground trees again, to give some distinction, then splattered with stormy sky and some Finetec silver metallic watercolor. This is the perfect card for my son! Here's my inspiration.

LOVE the colour of your winter woodland forest Sue! Restamping some of your trees gives them more definition ... great idea. Your blue and silver splatters make the skies sparkle. Thanks for sharing with us at CAS Mix Up! xx

Your Christmas card, Sue looks just like a very snowy day in a forest with fog settling in....It makes me want to put a jacket and hat on..but I refrained as it is 82 degrees at our home:-) Love your shades of blue and snow. So pleased that you joined us at CAS Christmas Card Challenge: Pine. Love and Hugs...Nancy
