The Old Farmers Almanac, Julie's choice for the IC this first Saturday in July. What a comfort in our rapidly changing world that people still look to a publication that had it's first edition in 1793? Count me in!
I've been tossing around a blue moon for awhile now. Though the Almanac states we won't have another until August 2023. My moon is a carabelle studio stamp. It was created separately from the background and just waiting to audition! Another one of those elements that I made on a lark and did not write on the back what I used.
The background was done on Arches Rough 140 lb. I used A Colorful Life 'Atomic Starbursts' stencil. Another bg I pulled from my stash! Water splatters, stamped the Rubber Moon tiny stars across the night sky, embossing them with gold ep.
The sentiment is a Laurel Burch Celestial set. It was stamped in clear and embossed with Ranger 'Shell White'. I made a frame from Washi tape black with gold stars.
...we can THANK our lucky stars when once in a blue moon we find rare and kindred SOULS along the pathways of our LIVES.
I stamped the String of Stars (Technique Junkies) on Arches Smooth and embossed with Ranger Mixed Metals ep. Each star is a different twinkle! Fussy cut and placed above the sentiment.
The panel is mounted on Arches Rough 140 lb watercolor paper. I used an easel back.
Thank you, Julie. I enjoyed my trip through the Old Farmers Almanac...so much old wisdom there, I've bookmarked it. Happy 4th of July, friends! May your lucky stars be too numerous to tally! Thanks for your comments.

You do celestial backgrounds and skies SO well! This is magical! And that saying...it's like a light bulb moment...and it speaks to the friends we have all made here in this wacky web of a universe. Who would have considered years ago bringing all of us together on a thing called a website....
