WT898 - Sabrina says to 'Chalk It Up to Experience'
My chalk experience is with Generals Chalk Pencils. I've had the same 3 sets for many years. I found this stamp set in a box from a sale - New to You - several years ago. No name, no markings, just a $2 tag. I don't think I've ever used it. Anyway, I was looking for something else & this said I'd look good in chalk. I think so. I colored with Pink, Grass Green & Carmine. I used Q-tips to blend & soften the chalk marks. The blue surround still looks a little scratchy, even with the Q-tip blending. I think this will be a birthday card. Thanks Sabrina, this was fun to do.
Thanks for stopping by.

I don't think the blue looks scratchy at all, and love the soft look you've achieved. You've reminded me that I do have a small set of chalk pastel pencils which belonged to my mother. I must see if I can find them. The rose stamp was a lovely find.

Don't you love it when a stamp tells you what to do? The best cards come about that way, I think. Your stamp was certainly correct about looking good with chalks.

You always do a nice job with wc pencils and I'm seeing the same with these chalk pencils, Mf! Very pretty roses and beautifully colored. I Love the the way the blue bg turned out! Splendid~
