My card in remembrance of Karen. She was always supportive of my crafty efforts. I cased this card and will be posting to her husband Mark. Angled Blooms Birthday by Art Deco Diva at Splitcoaststampers
I kept her design, adding vellum across the centre to subdue the colours a little. I used different flowers, added mats to the panels and changed the words.
I've linked this to today's colour challenge - all colours subbed!

Favourited. Love the contrast between the softness of the vellum and the crispness of the black matting. I always love seeing you use Flower Shop; the double layered bloom is wonderful.

What a beautiful card you created inspired by Karen's card. I am sure Mark will love getting this card. Karen's gallery had so many beautiful cards and you chose a gorgeous card for your inspiration.

Oh my gosh, thank you for sharing this card and the tribute! I am so happy to see others who are using our trusty sets from the past to make modern cards. Oh, and love your creative use of vellum!
