Whoâs Gayle? I donât know her. A friend of mine always asks me to make âpersonalizedâ birthday cards for her friends and family. She considers personalized to mean having the personâs name on it, so thatâs all she ever tells me about the people she wants cards for. I personally would rather get a card with fish and flags and orange than a random card with my name on it. What do you think? I hope Gayle likes her card. Mikki did tell me that they are best friends, so this is Mikki and Gayle having crazy adventures. To make it mixed media, I used a left over background from the time we made our own texture paste. I sponged Broken China all over the panel and chopped it up to work for SC252. Polly is looking for lines on our cards, so I drew some lines on the bottom grass panel. I like that last touch. Well, the last touch was to add some sequins, because I thought the card was kind of boring without them.

Very cute...love the two friends having an adventure theme! I think personalized with the name is ok if you're under 10 or over 90 (we just had a 94 yo birthday Teaparty remember?....). Love the bg with the lines and the stenciled paste.

A fun, bright happy card. I like your stencilled background "sky". I personally don't enjoy working in all the assorted details people ask for, it takes the fun out of making for me, so I'm quite happy to plonk a name on, LOL.
