I knew it was just a matter of time before we were challenged to draw & paint a furry animal . . . and that's what today's video was all about.
I googled pictures of Red Squirrels and set about sketching my furry critter. I will freely admit it took me some time and a lot of erasures to get the shape I wanted. As promised by the video artist, painting was easier than drawing although I did use a black sharpie at the end to add back a few of the details rather than a twig . . . BTW How did he decide that it was a #12 stick ? ? ? lol (Inquiring minds want to know!)

Your squirrel is lovely, just the right coloring ! The shades of red blend into a lovely fur for the little critter. He's looking very pleased with his acorn and his surroundings!
