I used some old stamps and dies, new stamp and embossing folder; I borrowed my inspiration from our featured stamper choosing this card: A Floral Hug by GramJean at Splitcoaststampers
My floral stamp was a debossed bg that I stamped with distress inks in tumbled glass and weathered wood to get my blue. I spritzed and stamped onto watercolour paper, added some leaves and centres, over stamped the left side with script, embossed with matching folder to raise the flowers and tucked in a leafy flourish and sentiment. I kept Jeans blue and green overall floral, but whereas hers is one large, mine are many small, I changed the orientation of the card, and moved the sentiment from the top to the bottom, and added in a die cut. I have seen so many beautiful blue florals recently, and Jeanâs got me kick started to make my own. Congrats on being our featured stamper, Jean, and thank you for inspiring us all with your beautiful creations today.

This is rich in small touches that make a lovely card! Love the script on the floral DP. The leaves scrolling around the scripture is perfect. Beautiful!
