Thank you, Kittie, for bringing us Vicky. I really enjoyed walking through her gallery. When I came across Stained GlassI knew I had my case. I used this amazing Wordsworth Nature border stamp. I colored with watercolor crayons, fussy cut the Irises and Dragonflies on top.
I chose the Verses sentiment for the center.
There are souls in this world
who have the gift
of finding
JOY
everywhere
and of leaving it
behind them when they go.
I added the copper German scrap to the edge of the sentiment. Did you notice the snail on the leaf below 'it'?
The Inspiration Challenge this week has us visiting Amy's (Kalla Walla) her Hat Inspiration Pinterest Board. Amy, I could create for weeks pursuing those hats!!!!!!!! Magnificent art. I bet I could even find a hat with dragonflies...
Last but certainly not least, I am playing in the Color Challenge 892. Karen (Karen B Barber) selected this fresh combination PACIFIC POINT, PEAR PIZAZZ, and GORGEOUS GRAPES. My anything goes is Old Olive seam binding woven into the Mulberry paper to mimic those glorious leaves in the border.
Vicky, I hope you enjoy your FS gallery in your honor. You have many wonderful cards and a generous heart. I have my eye on your room cards for a return...
Thanks for having a look...happy day~o

Susan this is so beautiful. Fav’d. I wish I’d seen this verse before. I would have stolen it as it reminds me of our dear Karen. Love it all. Happy day and hugs

And you created a card of Joy that will give much love and encouragement to its recipient. I agree with you that that image is amazing as is your coloring and design. Fussy cutting just the top edge -- so interesting and creative -- as are the embellishments and layering. And, yes, I did notice the snail even before I read your write up. Glorious card.
