Karen is our hostess for this week's Color Challenge CC892. She has selected some bold and cheery colors... Gorgeous Grape, Pacific Point, and Pear Pizzazz with the dessert option "Anything Goes".
My semi-clean design was created by stamping the flower bouquet and bottle images onto watercolor paper using dye based ink. Both images were solid images so therefore provided a lot of color, with that said, the ink was blended by using a blending brush, giving the image a watercolor look. To add more dimension, additional ink was applied to the images by using ink refills (on a clear block). The picture doesn't show it well but background has a blue tint that was also water colored. An additional color of Highland Heather was added (in the matte) to fulfill Karen's dessert option of 'Anything Goes'.
I hope you will join us by participating in Karen's fun challenge this week. We, the design team would love see 'your' wonderful work of art. Thank you for taking a look!

A real showstopper with your fantastic coloring. I like using different mediums to watercolor, and inks always have the vibrant tone. Wonderful card. TFS

LeAnn your gorgeous bouquet will certainly live up to your sentiment - 'Sending Cheer'. Your flowers are lovely and your vase looks almost real! Love this!

Gorgeous. I love how you achieved the watercolor look on this and moved the colors around to give so much depth and life to the image. The scallop framing is perfection. Great card.
