A big congrats to Gayle, the newest Featured Stamper! She has a sweet little gallery & I chose THIS to case. I kept the layout & most of the colors but I used different images & dies, added some embossing & a few more layers.
The yoga cat was colored & I stamped part of the greeting right under him. I added the dk brown & loops layers then dry embossed the white layer behind them. The rest of the greeting was stamped on a narrow strip & added it to the embossed layer. I wanted a narrow brown layer behind it, but didn't have a bigger piece to match so I used a Copic to add the color.
Thanks so much for looking. It's on my blog w/ Copic colors & more pics: The Write Stuff

First, I pinned the same inspiration card for future reference.
Second, I immediately laughed with delight when I saw your darling yoga cat (take that, you baby goats!) then began a closer study. The combination of loose and structured circles is amazing, right down to that chubby belly!
The colors are perfect, I have seen many felines of that color family - and your sentiment is true and wistful. Great card, I love it!

So adorable and what a great sentiment especially with that image. I love the loopy frame and how you used circle motifs on all the layers to tie it together. Great coloring. Great card.
