Today we are sending encouragement to Joyce whose favorite colors are pink and lime green. This card is the result. A few weeks ago, the TLC was strip flip and I wanted to try it but hadn't had a chance.
I started by sponging an ombre background using Lemon Lime Twist, Granny Apple Green, and Shaded Spruce. I wouldn't have tried these colors together but thought it turned out pretty good. Next step was to cut into strips and glue them to thin copy paper but alternating the ends. After it was all together, I stamped a script background stamp using craft white ink.
I cut the flourish from a pink gel print background and then three layers of white cs. I heat embossed the pink version with clear embossing powder to make it shine. I adhered all the layers together and attached it to the background panel. After that, I decided to use the corner punch but could only punch three of the corners due to the thickness of the die cut. I stamped the sentiment and die cut it with the ornate frame die. The last thing was to attach the sequins.
Thanks for the challenges and thanks for looking!

I'm loving the cards with this flip technique and your greens on this one are super -- definitely a combo you should revisit often. Love the script stamping -- always a beautiful touch. I like just the three corners punched. It gives it a different look and charm. And, you finished beautifully with your glossy pink flourish. Wonderful card.
