I missed a few birthdays in January, and here I am playing belated birthday catch-up! I think "catch-up" might be a word that is imprinted in my DNA! I was still in the mood to search out some oldies from my stash, and I found two stamps sets that I wanted to use if they would work into my SCS challenge search.
With my two stamps in mind, I was able to find 11 challenges that I could use if I designed my card just right! The challenges are listed below:
1) AOCC22 - All Occasion Card Challenge/ February 2022. An ongoing/monthly challenge encourages you to set goals ahead for each month to help you complete and mail your cards more timely! Well, this is not timely, but it is a much needed late January birthday...a belated birthday card made in early February and already sent.
2) USEIT2022 - Use It Challenge/ February 2022. An ongoing/ annual challenge that requires you to use OLD/ DUSTY and long unused items and/or OLD/NEW items purchased, never used, and seemingly forgotten! OLD item(s): Lots of old stuff for this card...a 2008 stamp set (flower circles), a 2013 stamp set (sentiment), stash paper scraps, stash lace, Corner punch (inside).
3) DINSP0821 - Fan Club Monthly Theme Challenge--August 2021/ Kitchen Sink - 8/16/21. My card fit the random part of the theme. I pulled out two stamp sets that I really wanted to use. It is for the INSPIRATION picture challenge. I was inspired by the blue floral pattern. It reminded me of the companion dsps found in my scrap stash.
4) ABC13V22 - Alphabet Challenge/ Letter V - 8/26/20. My "V" is for Veronica white and blue flowers...the Whitewater Speedwell and the Blue Reflection and also for a Vintage-simple style of card.
5) IC766 - Inspiration Challenge/ Allen Designs - 8/8/20. I found this kettle clock and was inspired by the colors, the flowers, and the vines: Kettle Blue Clock!
6) MIX392 - Mix-ability Challenge/ Fresh Avocado!- 7/31/20. Challenge: Include green in your card and brown in the form on a circle to represent the seed. My card has green in the dsps and my brown-colored large pearls are my brown circle. Mediums: Copic markers, dye-based stamping ink, pigment ink (edge distressing), computer ink---inside verse.
7) MMTPT619 - Teapot Challenge/ Teaparty Essentials - 6/2/20. Challenge: add teaparty essentials: teapots, tea, cups, sugar, cream, sweets, flowers. I'm using flowers...essential for your teaparty table!
FS695 - Featured Stamper Challenge/ Knock, Knock (aka Knoxville8625/ Chrysi McDonald) - 5/31/20. WOW! Chrysi's gallery was fun to browse, and I found so many cards that got my creative mojo jumping! I found four cards that gave me ideas for designing my card! It was probably more difficult to wheedle down to one because I had a couple of stamps in mind that I wanted to use, plus the blue flower card spurred me to want to use specific leftover scraps that I recently saw. Sooo, I'm including all of them! 1) Reminded me of Eastern Blooms stamps I really wanted to use soon: CC205--So Many Flowers! 2) Liked using 2 different papers top/bottom as it suited using two companion papers in my stash: Thank You Delight! 3) Blue flowers really made up my mind to use the two different companion papers in my stash: CC203 Birdy Best Wishes! 4) Circle images offered idea of how to use the Eastern Blooms flower stamps: SC206, CC196, Warm Winter Wishes! I certainly changed more than two things on all the cards...color, theme, orientation, element placements, etc.
9) F4A526 - Free 4 All Challenge/ Playing with Fabrics - 3/20/20. I have added lace to my card. You might ask, "Is lace a fabric?" Here's what Google says, "Lace is a delicate fabric made from yarn,...cotton thread, and synthetic fibers" in the present day. Lace fabric was originally made from silk and linen.
10) WT716 - Ways to Use It Challenge/ Follow the Recipe - 11/29/18. Challenge: 1 word, 2 images, 3 colors. My card... 1 word - Celebrate; 2 images = 2 flower patterned papers; 3 colors = brown, blue, green.
11) CAS509 - Clean & Simple Challenge/ Bring Out the Pearls - 11/26/18. My card has pearls inside and out. They are colored with Copic markers to coordinate with card colors.

What a Beautiful color combination, Carlene! I love it and I Adore your card! The first thing I noticed was the lovely piece of lace; it just seems to stand out so perfectly. Oh, and I need to remember to stamp onto dp like you have with the sentiment. I'm impressed with this creation....maybe you are trying to outdo yourself~
