Congratulations to Carolinakathy as our Featured Stamper this week - FS782! There is so much inspiration in her gallery that I had trouble choosing one to case for the Challenge.
I selected MMTPT702 Vintage Woman by Carolinakathy at Splitcoaststampers for several reasons. I liked the vintage character placed in an appropriate background. I liked that it was unashamedly black & white, because that fit with the vintage mood. I liked the little touches of gold, and I loved that I could ink stamps received years ago but never used.
I had visited an Auntie & Uncle who always lived a good distance away. We saw each other mostly at family Christmas. Nearing 70, my Aunt realized her kiddos had no interest in her craft supplies so she loaded me down for the drive home. It took weeks to sort, organize and decide what to keep; other items went to an animal shelter fund raising event.
There was a series of, er STRANGE (to me) ladies with accessories that I kept because they seemed bizarre. The lady shown here is the most conventional, maybe someday I will risk inking one of the others? I placed her in front of an old favorite FARM by SU. Edited to add link to www.CharacterConstructions.com
So thank you for stretching me out of my comfort zone, Kathy - and enjoy watching how you inspire the community with this Challenge!

Oh what a great image and collage of stampings on your inspired card! I think it's great to have images you might not have gravitated to - and suddenly you want to use them for something!

I think you should ink them, if anything maybe sarcastic thoughts will pair with them? This looks really cool. I love that she is holding what you have turned into a nest the farm is perfect for the scene.

Enjoyed reading about the stamp supplies that were passed on to you .... you did a fantastic job of creating a vintage card with the images you found that compliment the figure of the woman.
