Today's inspiration challenge and this picture https://virginialivingstore.com/prod...4629c40a&_ss=r was the push to paint leaves. Last week's circles went in the bin and I decided to just do my thing because the formal learning style grates with me now - that is too much like work. I came back from a class / group finished a card we started there and then went straight into this one.

Your card really looks like your inspirational piece. Sure wish you would have had better results with the practice stokes. Why I gave the video for the challenge was once you get the hand and eye motion of the stroke you never forget it. Sounds like your card class is enjoyable. Thanks for playing in the challenge this week.

How did I miss this lovely creation when you posted it?? The pearl clusters along with the touch of sparkling gold on the stem add quite an elegance to this card. Your leaves are all nicely uniform and you achieved a pretty blend of colors.
