A fun Umbrella Inspiration Pinterest board for todays IC challenge!
When I saw this pretty purple umbrella I immediately thought of this lovely snowy stars die that I've had for a few years and have never tried it out after wanting it so badly!
I die cut the snowy stars out of a panel of Amethyst paper, then sponged over the circle of it with Ranger Distress Seedless Preserves to give it some depth - then I also sponged lightly around the outside edges and inside the circle.
I layered the die cut panel over a metallic holographic silver panel. I die cut the sentiment and star out of the same silver paper - and adhered them over the panel - the star is up on a foam dot.
It's really sparkly in the light IRL - not so much in the photo!
So happy to use something neglected in my craft room today!
