Some years ago someone left an inexpensive New Testament at my door, and immediately I removed the binding and brushed gesso on all the pages. I handed these out at my entry level class on Bible Journaling, as newbies are reluctant to start in their actual bible. Some pages were left over, and I occasionally will use one - like today!
I brayered Pool Party ink, then lightly sponge-brushed white acrylic over everything. Used a sponge dauber to stencil some designs with Coastal Cabana ink. Used White Craft ink and White embossing powder to add the trees. Die cut the star & words. Die cut the snow bank, then used a paper piercing template to evenly space the border holes. Assembled on a card blank made of mixed media paper, then added Stickles and left for lunch so it could dry.
I am happy with the experiment; all it needs now is a 9x6 inch envelope...

Gayle, this is a great case of Dagmar's card. What a gorgeous bible page with the light blue color. I love the trees done with the pigment ink and white embossing. Perfectly beautiful!
