This is my card for CC864, Chris is our hostess and she chose bermuda bay, real red and basic black for her color trio. Dessert option this week is weathered. I used a distressed designer paper to cover the option.
For my card I used 2 new dies from CottageCutz. The Holiday Ice Skates Floral + the Merry Christmas w/Snowflakes dies coordinated nicely with the background designer paper and give it a more retro look.
I cut the images in the challenge colors. The Merry Christmas sentiment I cut 2x to give it a bit more dimension.
The background designer paper is from the Bo Bunny "merry & bright" collection. Added some bermuda bay sequins to finish off my card.
I hope you can play along with us this week. The colors provide so many options for designs.

Mary your design is a winter beauty! The wood background with the ice skates makes we want to say, "Bring on winter". The Merry Christmas die cut is gorgeous too! TFS

Love that weathered dp and the floral ice skates die looks amazing. Love your placement of the diecut sentiment which is beautiful. The sequins are the perfect touch!
